Kirsty McIntyre

Kirsty McIntyre is a Melbourne based artist working mainly with palette knife and oil paint on canvas on Australian themed still life subjects, and the backyard birds that visit. Lately her work has captured an increasingly vintage feel that celebrates our own native flowers and birds.

Kirsty’s work has been exhibited in numerous group exhibitions since 2011, and is now held in private collections in the USA, the UK, France and Australia.

In February 2019 Kirsty jointly held the“4+1” private group exhibition at the Victorian Artists Society, opened by Leslie Harding.

Kirsty had mini solo exhibitions as the invited feature artist at the Roberts McCubbin art show in March 2019, and as the guest artist at the Derinya art show in July 2019

In the past 12 months  Kirsty has been a finalist in two national art prizes; the Eutick Memorial Still life award in 2019 and the Wyndham art prize in 2020
